I guess most of you got the email from them telling you about the new items they have. Did you see the signed drumhead plaque? 600 BUCKS! are those people thinking ripping the fans off like that? (It´s not the only thing there that´s WAY overpriced) I mean first of all i wouldnt buy something like that cuz either you get autographs yourself or not at all. But second:(which is BAD) there are always idiots out there who actually buy that stuff... It´s very sad to see what they started to do just to make MORE and MORE money. But like i said before. No one makes the people buy it. If they´re dumb enough no one can help them anyway lol Just had to say this..feeling better now lol Any comments? T.

Tanya, fans are willing to pay $ 2000,-- and more at FC raffles for a piece of clothing that Jon once wore (and I doubt that the money goes to charity). I wonder if they stop a moment to think about how many wells could be dug in Africa for that amount of money, how many vaccines and how much food could be bought.

Oh i know Alice believe me. HOW can people do that? I mean what does merchandise do for you? Buying a shirt and a program at a concert is fine BUT stuff like the clothes you mentioned or signed things are just pointless. It´s not personally for you cuz they just signed bulks of stuff and WHAT do they need clothes for that BJ wore? No BRAINS! AT ALL! Very annoying and a very hot topic if you ask me cuz the average fan would be happy to buy STUFF like that. They just dont realize that they only get used by the company/band because they know they will buy ANYTHING. I mean (extreme example i know but i am trying to make a point) they could sell Jon´s used toilet paper and people WOULD BUY IT!

some fans worship Jon, and to hold something in their hands - or even sleep in it - that once was his seems to be the best they expect of life. Sad people, IMO. The song Pictures Of Lily comes to mind here.
I'm not sure if the band members give a thought to how much such an item will cost the fans, I imagine that they just sign the item and forget it the moment it is out of their hands.
This is Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi, not with Bon Jovi. I seriously doubt that the other band members see any money from the profits the sale of merchandise brings the fan club.

hm i was talking about the bonjovi.com shop. but backstage has items/will have items like that too i guess at some point. But yeah, the other bandmembers wont see even one cent from what´s being sold on backstage as it is "Jon´s thing"
